Greg Goslin
Managing Principal

Greg is responsible for leading strategic direction of the organization and overall client management for AEC Consulting Group.  He spent six years with another engineering and architecture recruiting firm as a Principal working with the leaders of A&E and Environmental firms, helping them identify and evaluate areas for growth and constantly delivering results. This gave tremendous insight into the industry and knowledge of how firms are looking to grow and what many common frustrations and desires are for senior and executive level leaders. Degree in International Business, both from the University of Florida.

Beyond going deeper in listening to the reasons someone would look for change, he also helps hiring managers explore what strategic hires are needed for a firm to grow.

Greg is reliable and relentless in his pursuit to not only bring the best talent to our clients, but do so efficiently and effectively. His financial background allows him expertise in the M&A side of the business as well, evaluating companies and negotiating/structuring both buy-side and sell-side deals.

Prior to entering the recruiting world, Greg was a District Manager with Ford Motor Company–Marketing Sales Division, responsible for overseeing sales and service with area dealerships totaling $1 billion in annual revenue. His territory had impressive sales and profit gains of over 25% during his tenure. His commitment to excellence, enduring passion and motivation to be a true consultant in everything he does leads to his success.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in International Business, both from the University of Florida.

Jeremy Smith
Principal

Jeremy connects exceptional individuals with outstanding firms. In an effort to uncover the right opportunities for these individuals, he builds relationships with both candidates and clients to understand their needs and goals.

Jeremy is now leading the Orlando, FL office as well as the geo-environmental recruitment in western Canada. He has developed a very strong rapport with industry experts and successfully introduces candidates to companies that fit their career aspirations.

Jeremy joined AEC because of his passion to help hardworking individuals further their careers and be recognized for their accomplishments. He brings over 12 years of experience in software marketing to AEC, so he is comfortable speaking with people at all levels. Utilizing the technical expertise he developed in roles with some of the world’s top software companies, he now specializes in helping professionals in many different disciplines.

Jeremy is married to Monica and has a son Ethan. He spends time outside of work coaching lacrosse and competing in BBQ contests.

Beth Auer
Principal

Beth is an engineer by education which lends itself well to her understanding the challenges many potential candidates face.  She is extremely analytical and combines that with practical knowledge to take an independent view of every individual’s situation and relates personally to both her candidates and hiring managers.  Her in-depth industry knowledge allows her to quickly identify synergies between individuals and companies.

Beth’s education combined with her work experience in engineering and financial analysis makes her an ideal consultant to work through the variables in evaluating another opportunity in an unbiased way.

Prior to joining AEC Consulting, Beth spent four years with an engineering and architectural recruiting firm as a Senior Search Consultant working with the leaders of A/E/C and Environmental firms, helping them evaluate opportunities for growth and talent acquisitions.  She is constantly recognized by candidates for her ability to evaluate and advise appropriately how to handle the most difficult situations.  She has a unique ability to put herself in their position and look at a situation from every aspect.  Because of this, she receives countless referrals of individuals at the highest levels.  Beyond working with all levels of  individuals, she has successfully evaluated acquisitions from both the buy-side and sell-side, continually identifying the best path for her clients to maximize results.  Prior to stepping into the world of recruiting, Beth worked as a business process analyst for SunTrust Banks, where she was responsible for analyzing and improving process efficiencies in all segments of SunTrust’s business.  She also spent five years as an industrial engineer in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.  Beth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University.
